Uber and Delta Air Lines Launch New Partnership to Reward Travelersprueba

Uber and Delta Air Lines have joined forces to offer a new rewards program that benefits frequent travelers. By linking their Uber and Delta SkyMiles accounts, users can now earn airline miles for money spent on Uber rides and Uber Eats orders. Specifically, travelers earn one mile per dollar spent on UberX rides to the airport, two miles for premium rides like Uber Comfort and Uber Black, and three miles for Uber Reserve trips. Additionally, orders over $40 on Uber Eats will also earn one mile per dollar.

This collaboration marks a significant shift in Delta’s loyalty program strategy, as the airline previously partnered with Lyft. The new partnership with Uber, which holds a larger market share, aims to provide more value to Delta’s customers. Furthermore, Delta’s mobile app now includes the ability to book Uber rides to and from airports, streamlining the travel experience.

Starting later this year, Delta plans to offer a 30% discount on Uber Reserve airport pickups for SkyMiles members who log in to in-flight WiFi. Uber is also introducing a $10 promotional airport shuttle service in Atlanta, a major Delta hub, with plans to expand to other cities like Boston. This partnership reflects both companies’ efforts to enhance customer loyalty and convenience in the competitive travel industry.
